Hey jack, when we drifted out of lane (in U.S.), meaning our right front was on the lane marker, the car took control immediately and made a VERY loud beeping. It is very interesting to see the differences in U.S. an U.K auto pilot. And in the few times we drifted out of the lane, the car had the same response.

There is a setting that you have to turn on in order for the car to steer back into the lane. You'll find it under "Autopilot" - "Lane Departure Warning" and then change it from "Warning" to "Assist". You should try and see what happens if you "fall asleep" while you have that on. :)
