I found rooted cuttings of two LSU figs for a good price, on Etsy, & ordered them. Two-three years till bearing fruit.

Thanks for another great video. I always like to put an arrow for growth direction on my cuttings. Although it's not as important with figs because you can look at them to figure out growth direction. I like to keep in the habit; it's good practice. I think you should have told people that the nodes should be above the old leaf location. That way people don't plant them in upside down.

I have bought a rooted Smith and a Col de Dame Blanc cutting from you before.

That CdDB cutting is the beastliest of my three.

Thank you for the excellent cutting!!! Even got a few figs off of it the first year.

Great info. Where do I put the plantings when I take them from the tree? Do I leave them uncovered? Can i put them in my mini greenhouse uncovered for the winter? I appreciate your help.

Great information video 😊
I'd forgotten I'd taken cuttinh in the Spring here in the UK, then wrapped them in damp paper towel and placed in an open plastic bag and forgot about them until now (mid summer!) Whoops.
Three long cuttings still look viable out of the ones I'd placed away in a dark area, sheltered outside.
It might be the wrong time of year to start, but I like a challenge and hopefully a few months left of warm sunny weather (UK... If we're lucky! Ha).

Just liked this video and it jumped to 2k likes! 😁

How does the Japanese pruning saw differ from a regular saw? How is it better? I'm anticipating my husband's question when he sees me looking at these. 🧐

Thanks for the info. Does the BUDDY budding tape work the same way as LABORATORY parafilm for wrapping budwood. Will the shoots grow through it? Thank you

Where do you sell your cuttings? Thanks to you and some other YouTubers, I am getting to know that there are other varieties in America I can get besides the common Brown Turkey fig that is available at most of the stores.. I am in Florida and I am hoping I can get some varieties that can grow here in this weather. Thank you for your videos all the time.
