Hey a better approach can be through graphs as follows :-
1) sinx has range [-1, 1] for all real x's

2) clearly -π/2 < -π/3 < -1 and 1< π/3< π/2 also sinx is one one function in the interval [-π/2, π/2]

3) Therefore cos(sinx) =1/2 can't possess any real solution since 1/2 <cos(sinx)<1

how about,

from trig we know that in a right angle triangle split into two, cos 60 is 1/2. so invariably, sin X = 60, then sin inverse of 60 is equal to X, which is √3/2
