I loved this story of who helped raise Anakin from Quinlan to Ayla who was like a big sister.

I thought this was a cool story and followed a very different training path. Qui-gon didn't do things by the book, and neither did Quinlan, and Anakin was no ordinary Jedi. The Jedi council was ready to reject the training of Anakin because of his age, so the training of Anakin needed to be very different. Aayla's involvement in Anakin's training was brilliant, one thing you did not specifically mention is the fact that Aayla being Twi'lek and a race often forced into indentured servitude would help her better understand Anakin since he had been born into indentured servitude, and that fact would have only made their ability to bond like brother and sister even more realistic and compelling, but that was not a fact that needed to be mentioned, it just was inherent in the story.

It’s so weird that if anakin had a brother or sister in canon that was older than him, everything that palpatine did would be useless since him buttering anakin up would mean nothing since the sibling would think that it’s weird the chansllor is doing that when in any other circumstance, palpatine would be trying to manipulate anakin.

I think this AU shows that Filoni was right when he said "Qui-Gon was the father Anakin NEEDED". More accurately, Anakin needed a FAMILY to raise/train him because he was already older than most when he was brought into the order he still had a longing for family.

An interesting story. I really liked the bond between Aayla and Anakin which is something that Anakin never had in canon; a friendship with a Jedi outside of Obi-Wan and Aayla or Barriss (who in Legends was just a year younger than Anakin) would very well fill this role. This would prevent Anakin from being isolated and becoming an easy prey for Palpatine.

I love this! The fact that Anakin felt fulfilled in life is amazing and I think the sibling relationship was both beautiful and genius. I also think having Quinlan be the original master is an interesting choice because of his unorthodox ways, and I think this makes the story even richer. I don't knoe how to articulate the rest of my thoughts so I will just say that this was great.
