Got my X on sale for 200 dollars off and loving it. It runs better than my old laptop, and it fits in my backpack. Good enough for me.

799 is a crazy price for a gaming handheld. That why I avoid the One X, Ayaneo, etc. No gaming handheld is worth that price

Asus is like a AAA gaming company, produce and put out something 1/2 finished and fix it later with updates.

I’ve had the Ally and the steam deck but the latest one I bought was the Lenovo legion go and so far in my opinion is the best out of all
Of them by far I love it

The processor is the exact same. The AMD Z1 Extreme. The only upgrades are the RAM slightly faster and more capacity and Battery.

Same screen n processor that’s why I opt to just keep my OG rog and replace my battery with a 74wt I just can’t justify the coins with very significant real upgrades

I shipped out my ally twice and the communication was great and I got my shit back fast each time

The after sales service is a nightmare, but working on both the original ROG ALLY or the renewed version on your own is pretty easy... The device is very repairable, surprisingly.

If Asus would just fix their rma warranty issue they will start creating a longer lasting brand all they have to do is fix that issue and they will have many more customers that come and stay
