the cool about this device is just that.. it can RUN anything.. AND even VR, I plug in my rift S with an adapter to the USb4 running at 25w-30w bro im blown away.... it can suprisngly even run half life alyx.

I installed a 4TB Ssd and have a 1TB Memory Card and installed Bazzite and split the storage between bazzite and windows and absolutely love this device, I hardly use my ps5 now as I find this more compatible and easy to play around the house

Got an ally x for xmas and I love it. The bestbuy employee had me tripping on it though because after we made the purchase he was like "make sure you thoroughly test it bc these things are known to have issues" So I downloaded all sorts of dif titles from my steam library, tested the SD slot, tried running it docked and it's running flawlessly so far. I think I like this more than my asus laptop sense I can take this around with no hassle and don't have to use a stupid cooling pad lol

I ordered my Ally X from Best Buy today; I need something to entertain myself with over the holidays since I'll be away from home. Can't wait to get my hands on it! Just need to order a screen protector as well as joystick protectors now. 😁

Bought my ally x a month ago, and it's awesome! Don't really play my Series X as much now lol. Want to upgrade ssd and saw that Best Buy has the P3 Plus 4tb for 212(US). Does it hold up good? Have heard mixed reviews when it comes to gaming on it. TIA

You can take care of that squeaky trigger easily. Open up the Ally and apply some keyboard lubricant on the springs of the trigger. Squeak will go away. Some say WD-40 works as well.

I picked my Ally X up a couple months ago. I love the thing, I almost forget I have a dual PC set up in the other room. I just love sitting and playing my games in the living room and being able to hang out with my family still.

I truly believe people saying the oled is better is a lie. They low key promoting the oled steam deck only. The ally x is superior in everyway besides not having oled. Ally X way better.

Controller buttons stop working in Armoury Crate after playing old games, such as those from the late 90s, 2000s, or even 2010s. This issue has persisted for ages, and it seems that Asus will never fix it. To make AC work again, reboot is required. I can't use the Armoury Crate as launcher.
