Cheap and easy solution to the Honda CRF300L brake line problem. All you need is a M6 x 20 mm + 8 mm Male to Female Hex Brass Standoff Spacer, a flat washer, and an 8mm or 5/16 wrench to make a huge difference in the visibility of your dashboard!
Below is the link to where you can get the standoff spacers. WARNING: do not exceed 20mm length as it will force the brake line to rub on the turn signal bracket. 20mm is just right and provides about 1/8 gap between the brake line and the bracket.

If I may add another solution: Where the brake line enters the reservoir on the right side of the handler there is an elbow that the brake line fastens to. All you have to do is loosen the banjo bolt that holds the elbow to the reservoir. You only need to slightly loosen it. Twist downward on the elbow. This makes the hose move forward, clearing the view of the instrument cluster. Re-tighten the bolt and you are done. Takes less than a minute. I rode my CRF250L with this same solution for over 14000 miles and it never caused the hose to kink or any other problems. Not as elegant a solution as yours, but it does work.

BRILLIANT ! Iam impressed. Your the first person to post a solution for a problem that all CRF-300L owners have. Thanks. I’ll be following your fix.

Hands down the BEST solution I've seen! Some people suggested to zip tie it to the handle bars... This is 100x better and wont tug at the line when your front suspension moves up/down

Amazing - thank you so much! Another fellow CRF300L user... installed so quickly, and took the bike out on the trails today. Works beautifully. I wish Honda had this installed stock from the factory

Excellent simple solution that doesn't compromise the line.

Dont even have CRF300 but watched it anyway 😀 I suppose I can appreciate problem solving skills some people have even when its not that relevant.

Great simple engineering solution, thanks! The break line is distracting to the point it’s a hazard.

Pure genius!! Can’t thank you enough. I ended up finding a fatter one in steel on Amazon and didn’t need the washer.

Feeling kind of dumb about not coming up with an idea like this myself. Couldn't find a standoff in town, so I just got a 30mil m6 bolt, a couple of washers, and a piece of hard line and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the idea!

Didn't have this problem with my 2014 CRF250M supermoto, but with the CRF300L I just bought.
Will track down those parts.
Thanks!

Thanks for posting this, you really did seem to solve it low tech style. Cool.

Excellent idea. Thanks for that. I was considering zip tying it to the handlebar, but don't really like that idea. That being in the way really bugs the hell out of me.

Nice work and thanks for sharing the parts!

Good job. I'd have liked to see a part of the video where you bounce the front suspension and demonstrate that it still travels freely. I take it that it does, as you seem knowledgeable.
