Best part, my dad rattle canned a 1970 beater f250 back in 98. To this day it looks 10x better than this.

You mean 10 dollar gun, sand paper 18 bucks pack of 50 TCP global.
Primer goes for 40 bucks a gallon.
Then paint is roughly 150, mine was anyways, a gallon. Then another 20 for reducer and activator. Then you got clear coat. Then final sanding and buffing. Unless you go single stage from summit then it 200 for the gallon. No such thing as just a 10 dollar paint job and yes I've used the same hobo freight gun. It will get the job done

$10 if you already own a compressor, hoses for it, fittings, paint, paint mixers, electric sander, sanding discs etc.. Al you were missing was a spray gun with the paint bottle

As someone who paints cars for a living. I can tell you from first-hand experience. There is a huge difference, between a $10 paint gun, and a $100 paint gun. Not only in quality of finish. But also in, usability.

When you're done with the $10 paint gun, just throw it away. It is a one-time use application. A $100 paint gun, will paint hundreds of cars.

The quality of your workmanship, is directly relative to the quality of the tooling you use to perform that workmanship. S*** tools, looks like s*** quality.
