So I love to DIY on the cheap and really wanted to fix some paint scratches on my car. I wanted to find a budget way to do this because let’s face it, I ain’t paying hundreds for a tiny thing like this. Went to SuperCheap Auto and found this little Duplicate color scratch fix all in 1 and absolutely loved the results. Not paid just really loved the product and wanted to share how great it works!

So here it is how to fix a car scratch for cheap! Less than $18 for one pen!

they forgot to mention you need to
1) wash your car
2) decontaminate the paint using a clay bar
3) spray the chipped paint area with degreaser (isopropyl alcohol) and iron remover
4) wet sand the chipped paint spot with 2000+ fine sandpaper to make smooth OR use compound
5) apply base coat from paint pen using tiny brush or toothpick
6) wait 30 minutes
7) apply base coat from paint pen again using tiny brush or toothpick again
8) wait 30 minutes
9) apply clear coat using tiny brush or toothpick
10) wait 24 hours
11) apply clear coat using tiny brush or toothpick again
12) dry sand clear coat
13) use polish to restore shinyness
14) wipe on wax, wipe off wax
