I was fired at 51 and thought I wouldn't find anything else because of my age. I did find something. Don't worry....it will happen!

I dont understand how someone with no kids who makes 100k has no savings or retirement. She should be rolling in money.

"I can work from anywhere"

Still choosing to live in a $1500/month apartment despite the simplest math dictating she'll run out of money in 4-6 months.
This woman has spent too many years running away from reality, and now it's caught up big time.

This shows how important it is not to be in debt. You never know when your circumstances will change.

I'm 35 and work with several people who are in their late 50's and early 60's. ALL of them have been through some type of job loss either through the company's bankruptcy, bad economy, or cut backs. So it's not if you lose your job it's when you lose your job so keep a nice emergency fund for when it happens. People that have 30+ year careers with a single company is pretty much a thing of the past. Protect yourself!

When you earn a lot you can't find it but when you earn very little you know exactly where its gone.

All you have is yourself and a six figure salary and have nothing??!!! Every time I think I’m behind I stumble across a video. This is absolutely crazy

I learn from other people's mistakes. I will not allow this to be me.

makes $100k a year, and wasn't paying any taxes on it.. ran up $50k in credit cards, and only has $12k left? with no kids.. this lady was traveling and living it up! and i'd guess she lost her remote job from not doing her job.. i work remote and while it's true that remote workers get a lot done since there's no micro manager there to annoy, it's equally possible to slack off and lose track of tasks

No retirement... no health insurance... no job... not much in savings... 50k in cc, 24k to IRS, late on taxes...renting at 1500 and refusing to move at a cheaper rate... no kids NO KIDS and making 100k a year?!? Please don’t do this ppl. Be INTENTIONAL, have a purpose and save MONEY!! There’s no excuse when you are living in America to be this broke!! NO excuse whatsoever!

It's hard to feel sorry for this one. I have a nice chunk of savings by only being a waiter at a restaurant. If I had a 100k job for 10 years and been laid off by 51, I'd have the ability to retire to another country. What a wasted opportunity.

I have had over 50 jobs. Work is a necessary evil. Hate it. I found redemption thru uber. 50 hour work weeks. Game changer

Dave is a very smart man. His knowledge is practical and logical. It's 2020 and alot of people are dealing with situations similar to this woman. I just got laid off and this was helpful...
