Honestly once explained it's fairly intuitive. Thank you for breaking it down so nicely for us newbies! Can't wait to play with the full version

Your videos are great! I used to be a real batch file nerd back in the bad old days of DOS. I use two on my PCs now, just one-liners with the shutdown.exe command. One gives me a one-click shutdown, the other a one-click restart. Keep it up!

Another thing you can do in Device Manager is delete the current driver, then simply restart your machine!!

What a lot of people DO NOT UNDERSTAND, is that Windows since Windows 95 to present keeps a spare copy of its drivers in the System32 file folder! This way if a driver becomes corrupt, at start up Windows will automatically look for the spare copy of it in System32, copy it and replace the driver you just deleted at start up!!! And often third party drivers will also install a copy of their "back up drivers" to this same file folder within the Windows directory itself, for this exact reason!
Another thing to add too is as long as the hardware the driver supports is still present, the driver will reinstall itself as normally at start up for the device requiring the driver!

I was at work one day and an engineer was complaining that he didn't have a replacement sound card for a computer he was working on to a co-worker of mine! And when I showed that, that the driver was corrupt in this same manner I just said above, the engineer looked at me and asked where I learned that?! The thing is I have never went to college, I don't have a single degree in anything, BUT I have been working with and on computers since I was 15 years old, which was back in 1981!!! And the engineer looked at me stunned when I explained the same thing I just said above as though I was lying to him about it!!! Even though he couldn't explain to anybody else that I "fixed the problem" he was having with the computer!!

Lots of good stuff! Thank you! The 1st 1 looks like a cleaner Event Viewer. The 2nd 1 seems like a good way to automate the process instead of using command prompt every now & then. All nice things to know & the others are just new to me. Thanks!

Great stuff. Only issue I had was that if you have a pre-built pc from Dell, HP, , etc you should use the update tool that is specific for Dell and HP to update your drivers as many times the stock Windows drivers will mess up your pc and it won't work / BSODs due to slight tweaks the mfg does for the hardware to run properly. I always use the mfg update tool first and then I run widows update tool.
