Secret features for Windows you probably didn't know!

There are lots of little features deep in the settings of Windows that most people don't know about. Others are hidden in plain site. This video goes over some of both, with 7 features in Windows that are either hidden, or almost completely unknown. Many of these features are available in older versions, even XP, and a couple are new in Windows 10.

The first one is not included with Windows.
Audio Stream Splitter (and the context menu option) comes packaged with Dxtory, the screen capture software.

I would like to have a video segment on "Run As Administrator"- what does it mean, what can you do with it, how does it work, and what are the various functions; or maybe a completely separate video on the subject. For me, I am scared to use it because I don't understand it. Thanks - keep up the good work

I've never seen a video before that shows me "things I've never heard of, " where I actually learn something new. That changed today. All of those were new, and the last one was particularly helpful

One of my favorite that most people do not know is for multiple windows. If you hold windows key and then left or right arrow your active window will go half screen and snap to the edge of the screen, including the split edge if you have multiple displays (aka on the right monitor you can lock the window to half screen on the left side). And if you use the up and down then it goes down to 1/4 screen. You can do some of this with a mouse by dragging a window to the edge of the screen, but with the mouse you can not get it to snap to split edge of two monitors.

I think the first one is not natively available in Windows but it's enabled when you install Media Player Classic, I don't have it on my computer and didn't see that option when I checked on many different video files of all possible formats (not even *.avi files).. I'm guessing if I installed MPC I'd start seeing it

The option you moused-over on the printers is the Adobe plugin. Microsoft's own is "Microsoft Print to PDF".
