I also appreciate seeing them bringing tarps and plastic sheeting in for salvage operations. Few FD’s seems to bother with this anymore. A restoration pro once told me that water does more damage than the fire in many cases.

That guy is INSANE for sawing down the front door with active flames without a mask/face protection!

That neighbor was valiently trying to help, and I applaud him!!! But why did it take so long to put water on this side of the home?

This was just chaotic. In the UK there would be some serious concerns raised and training back to day 1 started after that.

The lack of SCBA use is saddening. Inhaling the toxic smoke😢. Guys protect yourselves.

So many firefighters standing around and not putting water on it.

At least the neighbor did

Keystone firefighting. Cutting with no PPE. Multiple firefighters just standing around watching. What a cluster

LA City is the slowest fire department I've ever seen when it comes to getting water on fire, especially with a report of a victim inside.

I find it amazing how one firefighter will be on the nozzle struggling to advance hose line with 8 firefighters only watching the firefighter struggle to not one firefighter simply help with advancing attack line 🤔🤔🤔 I get it everyone has a role but it is okay to assist someone who needs help with advancing!!! Why force entry without a charged line

This was obviously a brand new crew doing their first ever structure fire training...

Why are they venting and accessing the front door without a charged hose line in place ?? Does LAFD have assigned riding positions on the engine companies ? Because there seemed to be a lot of confusion on who’s line that was and who actually gonna pick up the nozzle 🤦🏻‍♂️

Not waht I would expect from LAFD. Using the disc in smoke without SCBA and even not starting it before getting into the smoke.

Irone bar houses, the power saws get a work out . Did I see a one inch hose go to the roof? Using brush fire hoses to do some sort of top attack?
