It's unbelievable how many videos we see where personnel are showing up on a scene and are not packed up and ready to go..spending a minute or two getting ready there when they've been sitting in a jump seat since they left their station and should be ready to go in the second they step off the apparatus. That wouldn't go over well at our department and you'd get relegated to the back of the bus for not being ready.

sow it takes 2 minutes for water on the hose?!?! and why going in the house? spray water in the window... you can see the fire come out of the window. we in the Netherlands do it way different. and we have water on the hose in like 10 seconds... 2500 liters of water in the tank.

The USA fire disservice has no clue what the job is. Hustle to attach supply lines even thought each unit should have at least 500 gallons onboard. Hustle to set ladders even though the fire is visible in a first floor room. Hustle to Finish dressing when they don't have to to put that fire out. A bee line to the front door even though the fire is clearly visible right next to it. The front door is wide open feeding the fire. They go inside to stop the threat they could have done in half the time from outside. No consideration for their families. Absolutely no reason to play on the roof. Good old USA fireplaying.
