Hi sir, do you mind helping me on this one? I went over a lot of you tube channels but can't find how to do the equation.
2 people are running laps around the lake. They both start at the same time and go in the same directions. First person completes a lap every 4 minutes and the other person completes a lap every 6 minutes. How many minutes will it be before they are both at the starting line at the same time?
If they both run for 60 minutes, how many times will they meet up at the starting line during their run?
In 60 minutes, how many laps would either of them would have run?
I couldn’t find the right algebraic equation . I did 4, 8, 12 then 6, 12 so they will meet up in 12 minutes? i don’t know how to make equation out of this? pls help. Thanks
