Ranking How USELESS Rouge is in Every Sonic Game

Rouge the Bat is a confusing Sonic character, I can't tell whether or not she's considered part of the main cast, and I don't think Sega knows either.

Today, we're looking at every game featuring Rouge and ranking her role from worthless to elite.

Maybe for Team Dark outside of Sonic Heroes, but in Heroes itself Rouge is absolutely the one leading the team. Even for Dark Beginnings, one could argue Shadow is more of a Field Team Leader while Rouge is the one who actually decides how to get things done and drive the team. And that's how I usually see them.

Like damn, that's the moment I realized Rouge wasnt just a self-centered thief and really cared about Shadow and Omega.

Remember when sonic characters had purpose in the 2000s? Rouge was the one who founded team dark and her role in A2 and 06 are always memorable

Rouge is probably the smartest sonic character. Like, yeah tails and eggman are tech geniuses, but not much beyond that? While rouge is smart with tech (hacking mainly, also makes her own bombs) but also good at dealing with people, planning, running her own business apparently... like do you know how many skills you need to be a spy? Rouge probably knows a bunch of languages and would need to have shown she was good with guns and vehicles and stuff.

2:48 Honestly Rouge remains the de facto leader throughout the whole game. She's the one who keeps calling the shots and deciding what to do; even the fights against Team Sonic and the Chaotix were initiated by her, with Shadow and Omega backing her up.

I’d advocate for moving SA2 up a tier. Not only did she make some of the cracks that allowed Amy to get through to Shadow, but by the end of it, Rouge managed to finesse the heroes, Eggman, and the UF GOVERNMENT with exactly zero consequences. And while I can’t speak on the post Knuckles fight scene, I can defend Security Hall. The bombs were set for fifteen minutes. She got the emeralds in five, leaving her 10 minutes to escape. However, Flying Dog taking up those ten minutes was a completely unknown variable until he showed up. Yeah Shadow had to help her, but I wouldn’t say it was due to a lack of capability. Especially since she solo’d a military weapon.

As someone who's -a Rouge simp- looked at the side games and forgot most of them, this is a good reminder of at least some of them cuz oml did I fall asleep on them.

Rouge is mostly a solid character in every depiction she's in. Even in the comica and shows she's a stable character that usually brings others back to reality.

Always loved Rouge ever since i was a lil girl whenever I played Adventure 2, heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, riders and 06, she sticked out to me a whole lot more than like Amy. I love how she respects Shadow and has a cool relationship with Knuckles, especially in Sonic X they show her character a whole lot more I hope we continue to see her more in the future and know a bit more to her story.
