Amy Certainly has a Crush on Sonic, Sonic at the every least acts like the opposite, he’s faster than the Speed of light, but maybe not the speed of love.

However Sonic also has an on and off relationship with Sally Acorn depending on the Continuity. So Amy needs to watch out for her.

Shadow and Rouge have a lot of euphoric attention between each other, but I don’t know if that will ever convert into anything romantic.

However despite being Rivals for the Master Emerald, Rouge does have a Secret Crush on Knuckles that he has no idea about.

Sonic had a date scheduled with Amy after Unleashed, which would have taken place when Black Knight took place if not for Sonic getting summoned into another world. It gets retconned in the SXSG remaster, but in the original Sonic Generations Amy makes comments about having been worried about not being able to flirt with him again, implying they were still dating. Ian Flynn wrote it out presumably related to his statement on him thinking Amy and Sonic being in a relationship is creepy.

Regardless, from what we know about the situation Sonic did actually develop feelings for Amy and did put in the effort to give her a chance, but things probably ended up not working out between them off screen leading into their more platonic friendship seen in more recent games. It would seem that whenever they decided to break it off, they both mutually felt like it wasn't working out and maturely agreed to break off the relationship without breaking off their friendship.

It makes sense that Sonic wouldn't remain in a relationship for long as he values freedom more than anything else. He's not the kind of guy who likes being bound to one place or person, he's the kind of guy who would regularly be traveling the world at his own pace, even if that means sleeping out in the middle of nowhere when crashing at Tails' place isn't an option.
