I bought a 2011 Mercedes c300 with 45k miles from Copart auction after fees an all for 2400$, it needed front bumper, front Radiator support/headlight support, both headlights & a hood & a few small miscellaneous parts, total came out to $5600$. So after the rebuild for some reason the transmission wouldn’t shift gears, it would go into drive, it would go into park and it would go into reverse.. but when it drive it would only be in 3rd gear and not shift up or down… I thought I was gonna need a transmission… got quoted 1600$ for work and used transmission. I decided to take a look at it myself, got the car up on jacks… went up under… found a wiring harness that went from the ECU to the Transmission had been cut… idk by who.. but it cost me 200$ to get a new wiring harness and put it in…, sold the car for 10k

This makes me miss my 98’ Pontiac Grand Prix gt that we got from a family member for only $500😭 I miss that car. Only lasted about 11 months before we ended up selling it for about $1200. The breaks were shot and it would’ve costed more to fix than what the car was worth. Oh how I miss my baby tho🥲
