Erich Von Daniken's book Chariots of the Gods started to turn-over my 50 years of bible/Torah studies, 30 years in Jerusalem, Israel, toward world history (i.e. Summerian Tablets). Reading the book of Enoch changed me completely just as it did for Eric Von Daniken who was educated at the College St. Michel in Fribourg. Since publication of Chariots of the Gods, many have tried to persecute him educationally, politically, "legally" and other methods. Eric was awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the La Universidad Boliviana and cofounded the Archaeology Astronautics and SETI Research Society (AASRS).

As someone who has read & re-read The Earth Chronicles, Sitchin was well versed and knowledgeable about the Egyptian, Greek, Meso-American and other civilisation stories beside the Sumerian one. He draws the similarities in their culture, gods, folklore and architecture, etc, then culminates everything back to Sumeria in his final book, if I'm not mistaken. Good stuff...

As a not nonbeliever, but non faithful person I started reading the Bible out of curiosity and some events like the Bethlehem star, virgin birth, also events from Genesis Old Testament gave me a crazy idea, that it can’t be God there in these texts, it must have been some technologically advanced civilisation involved. I kinda got ashamed of myself thinking like that but I started searching and found Erich Von Daniken and started reading his books. It changed my life completely into the better. I’m happy that I found this channel for me the ancient astronaut theory is absolutely reasonable and I do believe it like anything else.
