Why disconnect the spark plugs? Is that just to prevent the engine from starting? That would be a pretty catastrophic malfunction if the engine could crank spontaneously.

Loved my z530m when I bought it. Unfortunately it lasted 32.1 hours (Less than 2 years) before the transaxles on both sides started making horrendous whining noises. I was hoping that by spending good money for a mower it would be dependable but now I don’t know what to do.

My deck has never gone up or down. Nothing in the Manual says what I need to do. Any help?
