I bred them fir 20 yrs. The dobe was bred for protecting karl on his rounds. He was also constable of his county. He would release the dog on the streets alone and the were the police. Dobe will naturally protect with minimal training. Even for strangers.

Without a doubt my favorite breed. My last one only lived 7.5 years. He passed do to enlarged heart. Best family dogs ever. They love you with everything they have. Giant lap dogs❤.

My DOBERMANN is 15 months and over 75cm in height and almost 46kg. Its funny how serious he looks but hes very playful and "childish" whenever he can.

I owned a male Doberman in the early 80's...he was of the Champion Warlock bloodline out of Cuba/Miami in the 60's. He was a damn super dog, he would just stand regally while I sprayed him down with a hose when I washed him. He wouldn't move a muscle until I was finished. He tangled with a 6 foot gator who got trapped in my backyard after crawling under a gate. They were both snapping and lunging at each other. until I managed to get him to disengage, he was holding his own. He would not let anyone into my house unless i told him to but as soon as they entered and I welcomed them he was their best buddy.

back then in Poland i have had female -SABA..believe me or not she was always arround my child sience born and she always was protecting him..nobody, , nobody can approch my son when they was by own.Wathing from window once my neighbour wants to get on my backyard looking for me and...stuck there no move back no move forward, ,,,unless relased her..she was loyal, the best dog dog ever.I miss her so much
