I had a doberman when I was younger. Of the different dogs I've had she was my favorite. She was incredibly easy to train. A very protective dog but she was a very good family dog. She could play with the young children of relatives who came by the house.

I have a 26inch tall female european dobe thats around 100lbs and she is pure muscle. Shes a sweetheart that loves to play, is friendly and is a cuddle bug. Best dogs in the world if your ready for some work!

I lived in an apartment complex where a guy kept his Doberman in the car. The door was unlocked so I let the dog out to play and put him back when I was done. The owner caught me and just smiled from what my very young memory tells me. I have always loved dogs and cats but I didn't get a dog until I was 11 or 12. I currently have 3 male pittie mixes.

I would love a 28 inch tall 85lb Dobbie. That's my future dream dog. Of course fully trained. Not cheap. That's why future dream dog. Bucket list.

All my life I was leery of Dobermans and Rottweilers because of the stereotype we had imprinted on us growing up. A handful of years ago. I actually bought a red Doberman pup. In the end, I couldn’t keep her because we were in an apartment but the time that I had with her really shattered my notion of Dobermans. She was an amazing animal. They are nothing like the stereotypes lead you to believe. I’m so thankful I got to experience having one and that my perception of them was changed with the truth. It broke my heart to have to let her go. When I have a backyard, or at least some land, I will be getting another one. These dogs are absolutely superior animals.

Theres also different lines of doberman, american, european, Australian..where american/australian lines live longer than European lines by almost a factor of 2x. I dont remember what yt vid debated them but its on yt if you look

Albinos are suuuuper controversial among the Doberman community and its generally agreed that responsible breeders don't produce them.

I spent a few years walking with a male and female pair. It was a few years before someone pointed out that Dobermanns can be all brown. I never even realised 😂😂😂. Lovely dogs. I've met a few over the years, and they've been great dogs. Males seem to be more laid back.

The fawn Dobermanns used to be called “Isabella” instead of fawn. Like calling a grey Dobermann, a Blue. White on a Dobermann was considered a flaw. I would think that white would be prone to sunburn. Now they also come in all black with no rust points.

Would have also been good to add that the albino, leucistic, fawn / Isabella, and sometimes the blue Dobermans also usually have skin issues and sometimes sight issues. The mutated genes that create those colors can cause other health issues. 😢

First time Doberman Owner! With my intact male Jojo( aka. Meep) I feel they are Great for people that want a more intense high drive working dog, that’s not overall too demanding. And easily adaptable, easy to live with.
