Notice that Ryan said down the middle but he also emphasized that the return went deep into the court and it was challenging the server because he came into the court. If that return had landed near the service line the server could have used his foreword movement to hit a placement to help control or close the point. So remember return up the middle and deep enough to keep the server back so they can’t attack. Every shot should have a placement and purpose. Don’t hit and hope. Practice the way you want to play 🎾🎾

Hi Ryan. Hitting in the middle or direct to the opponent when return serve? Some players may not serve directly from the middle of the baseline. Thanks for the tip.
