My young G Pulchripes juvenile would die so quickly in the wild because it spends 90% of its time out of its burrow. It definitely seems less active at day but I do occasionally see it wonder around

Apart from eating, my tarantulas do little else but sleep!

MY tarantula once sat on the front glass of her enclosure. All of a sudden, she fell straight down! She quickly got up again, but I am sure, she had gone into sleep mode, just like a computer.
It looked both sweet and comical at the same time!😂❤

You should look into tarantula circadian rhythms. Not all tarantulas are nocturnal and not all of them are on the same schedule. It seems to depend on their habitat as much as anything. Tarantulas from more arid regions tend to be more nocturnal, for conservation. Tarantulas from jungle regions tend to be more crepuscular. And there are diurnal tarantulas.

Hi I have a Mexican fire knee about 4 or 5 yrs. He is really active during the day and likes to climb is plants. And he almost never uses his/her burrow, is that normal behavior. Everyone tells me they don't like to climb and aren't supposed to be so active choosing to hide in tunnels or burrows. It has been like this for as long as I can remember.
