That’s a grammastola pulchra. Brazilian black. Huge and terrifying to look at but actually has a gentle and laid back temperament and keepers of tarantulas like them very much for their docile personalities though only ever handle one if you know what you’re doing and you’re experienced. As we see even a giant like that must be judicious about what it hunts.

Mature male tarantula. One of the most harmless creatures you could encounter. He's just looking for a girlfriend and ended up at the house somehow. They want to mate and will die of old age soon after that, if they don't get eaten by the female. Human males, be happy that nature has a different plan for our species lol
