I have an iPod Touch 5th generation, and have owned it for around three weeks. I honestly have nearly nothing bad to say other than the fact that it can be slow at times and can get warm, but as a music player, it's great. Battery can last around 6-8 hours for music playback for me.

Going from an iPod Nano 7 to an iPod Touch 6 to an iPod Touch 7 to an iPhone SE 3 (all base model) has been one hell of a journey experiencing Apple at it's bare minimum

I have iPod touch 7th generation as well. For casual music and podcast needs when travelling and that’s it. That’s the use case for me 😅.

From 2016 to this year, I had an iPod touch 6. It was great for school and for listening to music. It lasted me until March of this year when I stopped using it. I’m considering buying another one strictly for music as using an iPad for listening to kinda awkward.

Is Apple Music/iTunes app still supported on the 7th Gen? I just got my daughters each one for xmas to use with their bluetooth speakers while bike riding/OneWheel cruising

I have a 6th gen touch and it’s still a fantastic device for me. I can use Facebook TikTok YouTube and have Apple Music/Spotify and my large mp3 collection. Plus it gets my calls and texts from my iPhone SE 1. I disagree it’s perfectly fine for social media. Social media compresses photos anyways...and if were being honest the camera isn’t bad. Just not super fancy overkill like you’re used to.

Never understood the existsnce of the ipod touch. To me it always looked like you bought an iPhone that can’t “phone” 😅
