When my parents got a divorce I became too depressed to focus on school. When you’re 9 years old, you blame everything wrong on yourself. My mom and step dad grounded me and I wasn’t allowed to use any electronics.

My dad bought me a iPod nano for Christmas that year. My mom and step dad never found out. I would sneak up to our family computer in the middle of the night and put music on it.

I still have the damn thing - 15 years later.

In 2008 I got the shuffle for my birthday. It honestly felt like I had something so far into the future. The idea of having so many songs on this tiny little piece of metal and plastic. Miss those days man RIP iPod

Man this takes me back I remember when my parents came home with the first iPhone and I annoyed them so much they finally gave in and got me an iPod shuffle and then an iPod touch and I was over the moon. It was so cool you could download games and do everything the phone could do except call and record

Crazy, I literally just bought an IPod classic today. Exactly 3 years after they discontinued it. Who would’ve known it would make a comeback from the grave.
