Bought the 256gb when it came out. Slapped a case on it and turned off everything on it. Specificity only use it for music. I never did any updates and power it down when not using. This iPod is still 100% perfect condition and works like the day I bought it.

Still using my 7th gen, trying not to make it work too hard! 4 years and 5 months down the line, happy with it’s performance and it’s uses!

I just got an iPod 7 last week and I have to say this thing is awesome. It’s such a blast from the past and it still operates surprisingly well despite that it came out 5 years ago. Not to mention that it actually still has its benefits if you have an iPhone as well. You can link your phone number to your FaceTime through your Apple ID and make calls using your actual phone number from the iPod itself. The iPod brand may be dead. But it definitely left behind a legacy that will live on for decades to come. It’s definitely their 2nd most successful product for a reason 💯💯

I think you missed the point of the title of your video. Anyone buying an iPod of any generation in 2024 wants to use it for music. Touching on how this product won’t receive software updates is also important to mention, but for anyone planning to delete most of the apps and use this as a music player and stream with Spotify or Apple Music, it’s very much worth it. It includes the headphone jack and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity and offers WiFi support to save songs for offline use from Spotify. If this is your intention as a buyer, go for it. Don’t overspend on it, but it is absolutely worth it in 2024 and beyond

I think one big selling point of the iPod touch back in the day was for kids whose parents didn't want them to have a phone. Since the iPod wasn't a phone and couldn't call and text nativley (at least with the first few generations.) A lot more parents felt better with their kids having these especially because you didn't have to pay for a plan for it.

Sorry I bought my first iPod classic in 2008. From there i upgraded until I purchased the 7th generation 2 months ago. I AM VERY HAPPY. Don't need any Bang-wiz products anymore since I'm pushing 60 years old. I got a $10, 00 hi-fi stereo BTW.

Got a 128gb product red model from eBay back in February and it’s very very nice to use today very light the performance gets stutters here and there but nothing crazy I really can’t complain

I loved using my iPod nano 7th Gen back in the day when I was at the gym. Just music playing on my Bluetooth headphones, and had time away from my phone as it would be away in my locker so no distractions. Plus it was so light and tiny to carry in a pocket or on an arm band I hardly felt it.

I bought a Brand New 128 GB gold one I absolutely love it. It’s in mint condition I mostly use it for mobile games and music. That’s it never updated it.

It's a tough sell... but for an iPod that is shipped with up to 256GB/Bluetooth/Streaming Services/Lossless it's plenty of storage for up to ~32000 songs (~66.6 days of music).

got one on ebay for about 200$ and change, I use it when my phone dies or needs to charge around the house, 256 gb version still works perfectly with offline music, the battery is a bit terrible though I must say, get a battery charger case.

I will never give up my iPod touch 7th gen. It’s small and it hold a ton of of music on it. Battery life is still good

For me, ipod series is the best. To have an ipod this 2024 is practical. In order to listen music via spotify free without ads. No uninterrupted listening you just need to download the music. The value for money is good tbh.

I have a iPod touch 7th generation and I love it a lot I use it more than my iPhone and it’s because of the size I love the iPod touch and it’s still going good after 5 years

I bought a 64 GB iPod Touch 6th generation a year ago, battery life isn’t the greatest but at least when I’m listening to music through the headphones (especially wired ones) it can be decent. It’s the first iPod I ever owned as I wasn’t able to get that growing up and I didn’t have my first smartphone until I was 19 which was an iPhone 4 and basically the screen was around the same size at that time.

If they ever found a way to bring them back, I would love for them to at least have the Touch ID for an 8th and 9th generation like what happened with the iPad because they didn’t remove the home button until the 10th generation. They could of course improve the cameras and make a slightly bigger screen but not have it too overwhelming, not have it any bigger than the iPhone 7 Plus/8 Plus

This iPod which was released in 2019 got only to last for 3 years before its discontinuation in 2022.😢
