Shoulder Clicks During Chest Fly? Try THIS! | Canadian Protein

Does your shoulder click everytime you bring the weights down in a chest fly? It is likely that the angle of your upper arm to your torso is too high. Instead, bring the angle of your arms closer to your sides (45-60 degrees). The same concept applies to bench press and push ups. The higher the angle, the less shoulder-friendly the movement is.

Always avoided chest flys because my right shoulder would click painfully. This actually helped me 👍.

Thanks for the info. Just curious, I like to different angles for my chest flys, like a 90° angle and higher and lower. Any tips so I can still do the flys from a higher angle without the click?
