I don't think I've ever seen a miss this bad. To make matters worse, it happened on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball in a game between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers.

To be fair, the umpires absolutely owed a check swing call to the Dodgers after Ed Hickox's absolutely brain dead NON call against the Giants in 2021 that literally cost the Dodgers the NL West title by ONE game. That was easily the absolute worst non call in MLB history. I do agree that this call was wrong as well obviously, but it KIND OF made up for that non call by Hickox.
