I was raised in the Christian faith and married a Christian man so for 50 years but am spiritual too. When I was in the garden, I had my best conversations with God (myself). Nature is my fav church. I know some people in religions seek to control but not all religious people desire this. Many refer to us as a direct mirror of God but it is the last mirror to be recognized by us. When Christians speak the mantra "be still and know I am God", read the Word regularly and have the words "written on our hearts and in our minds", we begin to have a relationship as a child of God which eventually leads to our personal truth. We step into our spiritual power through our belief (faith). Spiritual awakening happens to Christians too. So just another way of saying what you are saying. I understand there is Science that explains the process. I go to church because religious tradition means something to my husband and because it is a form of community. I am not an island unto myself. I hear your core message though. Peace in Christ

I’ve been having such a hard time with this subject. I pray every night and I struggled to find a way in not to pray in a traditional religious way and even if I should change it. However, now I have a path and the empowerment and strength to really talk to the universe. Not in a guilty catholic way but in a safe, loving positive energy way.

Hey Christina! Yes, I mentally pray throughout the day. I make up my own prayers, such as: "God, Source, and I are One in mind, heart, and body"! "I ACCEPT all the Love, Joy, and Abundance of Good that the Universe has for me now". I learned that because we have been given free will, we need to ASK (and you shall receive). As a "Light Worker", I ASK for God's Love, Light, and Power of Good to come down into planet Earth, and ALL that lives here....and now especially the Ukraine and Russia area!! I make a point to set aside one day dedicated to my spirituality, but in February I suffered the loss of my younger sister, and I was drowning in grief so much, I neglected myself for weeks. I pray every morning during one hour as a rule otherwise I can't live my day and I'm lived by the day without any mastery of the mind that can be entrapped in people perspectives which are not mine. It's easy to be bamboozled by something that doesn't exist within us therefore I pray to be honest with myself even if sometimes I can be aloof or moody but It's me and my spirit guides ask me to be myself even if sometimes I'm bad-tempered. They want to recognize me as I am and not what I should be. I like to ask ( I call it the big mystery) to know more each day about my presence on earth because sometimes I wonder !

While traditional forms of prayer may be from a perspective of "helplessness" or avenues for clerical control over people, there are many other types of "religious" prayer that is "other" centered (intercession) acknowledging the greatness of the Creator (adoration) or prayers of thanksgiving.

Absolutely Loved this video Christina. I Prayer at least twice a day & this information is God sent for me right now. I feel like I’m not being heard by Source. I see sequence of numbers daily but I wanted to go deeper after being a Catholic & getting brought up in a Catholic nunnery for 3 years I know how the church teaches religion & it’s very dangerous, gonna be using your tips.
