I’ve had an ectopic pregnancy and had to get emergency surgery and the had to remove the whole ovary, was awful, they said could happen again, but what’s been happening is ovarian cysts I had one rupture and I had a lot of pain and bleeding, but was fine after that, now I’ve been having the same sharp pain on my left side again so I don’t know what problem to expect, also every time I get ovary pain my lower back hurts badly.

I'm not diagnosed but I'm feeling severe pain in my left lower abdomen during periods. I'm actually worried that this pain is no longer normal as it's getting worse every cycle

My girlfriend is getting surgery tomorrow to remove a cyst from both ovaries. The pain has become too great so that she cannot function normally, although some days better than others. She has not had it before but the doctors are confident her surgery will be successful.

Thing is from the time i had my periods i never had cramps but leg muscle pain not much a deal. Now in my 40 i get severe pain in my left pelvic and nothing in my right just because my periods stopped i happened to get diagnosed and after a month my periods started with clots heavy bleeding and never ended. Again diagnosed by scan and found out i have simple cyst in my right ovary which is expected to go by itself. 4 months to get another scan.
I know once started its a money issue as well but always better to talk with the doc. About periods time being stopped with meds and to wait for next month cycle if heavy again asked to do d&c

I'm 11 and I have one and my mom(she's a nurse) had told me that it is rare in children and mine is about 5cm big but it hurts and I won't be able to play in my soccer game😢

Without birth control mine rupture every month without fail. It’s excruciating and no one tried to figure out why they just put me on birth control and I’m too scared to get off and figure out why now

It's not normal when that cyst never go away and keep getting bigger! And alot of women suffer for it! I am one of them I keep telling my doctor this is not normal I can function my life every time my period comes and they getting worsts!!! Till for over 3 months I am been bleeding and become anemic because of the period till the my doctor decide to do the MRI found out my cyst and my fibroid are getting bigger and bigger! So instead of giving your patient medicine for pain why don't you all OB get a research to prevent this to all women to happen! Then next time you know it's cancer then the freaking insurance won't covered it. Stop giving the women pain medicine or birth control when have more high risk!!
