Just a small note: Ovarian torsion begins with compression of the ovarian veins and lymphatics, which later on causes compression of the artery due to edema of the fallopian tube.

On July 21, 2021, I was diagnosed with spots on my ovaries..I’ve got a call to have an MRI on Nov 4, 2021..so depending what the results reveal, I think I’ll go with a hysterectomy. I am going to turn 57 on Nov 18.

Post menopausal, large cyst, no solids or blood flow in imaging, CA-125 elevated to 42. No pain but found imaging for long time hernia. The only treatment I was offered was TAH. Now I feel like crap, intestinal and genital pain, hair started falling out soon as I got home, depression, tired, no sex life. It's been 4 years. Shortly after I found out I had low Iodine levels. Do you ever put post-menopausal women on contraception? Or is checking hormonal levels done?
