10 DayZ tips and tricks for beginners!

- If you're being attacked by wolves, jump on something, throw a piece of meat then run the opposite way!
- Got loads of good stuff? Bury it or hide a stash somewhere sneaky!
- You can pour liquids from container to container!
- Don't have chlorine tabs? Boil some water to amke it safe to drink!
- Don't have a camping tripod? Craft one from sticks!
- You can fill up water from these troughs, but purify it before drinking!
- Use a blowtorch to repair car parts
- Use an electrical repair kit to fix scopes
- If you see lots of fruit under trees, there is someone camping nearby!

Wolves can be distracted by any object, not only meat, also only go once to the object, then they will come for you

And when you don’t have any meat to throw for the wolves, you try and rip/tear off a bit of yourself to throw…

That last tip works with mushrooms in the woods as well! Mushrooms only spawn when a player is within a certain distance of them, so if you see a bunch of them under a tree, there’s a player nearby! This MIGHT also work with small rocks but I can’t recall

I kinda wish this game was single player and had a story and ai. I know theres other good survival games but this is so detailed and looks fantastic, I enjoyed this game when my brother and I had our own private server but we didnt pay for that forever.

Try to avoid pvp as much as possible, your main goal is to survive and not die

Cars are the best in any PVE situation you can hit or stab while not being hurt. I clear out military areas by doing this for easy looting. In the off chance they do land a hit you can just bandage there on the very top of the car or barricade
