I believe Alicent loved her children I think that she just had such a bad childhood it reflected on her kids

Alicent does love them, but she was a child (14-15 with Aegon) who was trying to raise children almost entirely on her own (the closest she has to a co-parent and emotional support is Criston Cole)

The way Allison reacted when her sons eye was cut out. It was a true mothers reaction. She loves her kids.

Allicent was forced by her father to seduce the king. She was forced to do her duty and have his children. Raenrya chose who she had children with. Allicent, from what we saw never betrayed her husband. She was a faithful wife.

Rhaenyra and Alicent both love their children they just have different parenting methods.

Lol, rather Viserys didn't love his children except for Rhaenyra. As a result, he ruined everyone's life. What's funny is how everyone is protecting the old man. Meanwhile, he killed his first wife, left Rhaenyra as a teenager, and when she left, it turned out that he loves and remembers only her, completely deleting his other children and his wife from the life, who remained faithful to him until the last night.

Alicent may not have been the best mother, but she did absolutely love her children

She litterally stood in front of a dragon to protect her oldest son. She loves them more than anything.

Tough upbringing doesn't mean she didn't love her children. Alicent protected her kids like a true lioness would her cubs, defending Aemond when they took his eye and standing in front of a dragon to protect Aegon. Rhaenyra pampered her boys mainly out of guilt because she had put them in a dangerous position. Her boys were mocked by everyone for being "bastards" and they were pretty much aware of it thus unhappy.

Alicent loves her children, she just doesn't know how to show it as she wasn't shown that as a child

I think considering her trauma and how the situation came about, she gave them as much of herself as she could. Remember she's human too. She has feelings

This means that Alice was about 15-16 when she had her first child.

Alicent loves her children too. She may not grew them up perfect, but not like she had agood example or time to be fully into it. She has to run the whole bloody country

Remember that Alicent married in the very young age and at age 35, she's already a grandma because Aegon and Helaena have 3 children

Alicent cared more for her children than she did her own life what-

People are so bitter towards Alicent that theyโ€™ll come up with any excuse to hate on her. She does love her child more than anything. She has a right to be upset about her sons eye missing. People love to act like sheโ€™s a villain when they wouldโ€™ve reacted the same way

Alicent was stuck with Viserys while Rhaenyra could sleep with whoever she wanted.
