If you really want to understand how male leaders work, you don't study or equate us to wolf packs, they're canine species which is way different than a hominid species. Take a look at how chimpanzees clans or groups organize their hierarchies, it's nearly exactly like ours. Some have special jobs, some use politics and cliques to rise up the chain. Some plot and scheme to get females and make alliances with other important males that will back them up in there rise to power, it's a very interesting thing to analyze and see how much we are the same, and get an understanding of the misconceptions of the terminology of alpha and beta males is misconstrued. It's not just a bigger male beats up big male and is leader mentality but more about psychology.

Ugh, my roommate, such a beta male, an aggressive one too. Funny enough, whenever I bring up boxing each other, he denies the offer. He'll bark all day long but never actually put the gloves on.

What I hate most is that, and this happened just last night, I let myself actually stand there and talk to him for more than 10 seconds (that's all it takes for him to start up shit) and it's not until the conversations over that I'm like "....fuck, why did I justice afford him the opportunity to fuck with me". I guess I wrestle with the thought of "is going to my room when he's around hiding or denying a negative person the chance to ruin my mood?"

But, as long I know the content in this video, I'm comfortable knowing that betas will be betas, that he's a dog with bark but no bite, and I can physically dominate him in the ring if I wanted to (this probably makes him so mad and afraid).

There is nothing wrong with me, no matter how much he might try to make it seem that way and in fact it is the exact opposite, he's a little beta bitch. Best revenge against these type of people is massive success and with that being said, I'm out to make some more progress. ✌

I end up having a lot of traits from all 3 groups. I can be a leader and try to help people during ROTC and swim(alpha), I always try to do things perfectly but feel like I never get it perfect(Beta), and sometimes I like being by myself and don’t really care about what people think of me(Omega). Does this make me Gamma or something?😂

Great advice. I have jealous family members who constantly oppress me. How would I handle this in a mature manner? Sometimes, I feel beta since I overreact to the negativity. I just love to hear how to handle this from an alpha male and not a beta.
