Thanks for another great video. One thing that I think you missed to mention though, is that the My Day view resets each day so that you can start each day fresh from scratch with a clean slate. That way the My day list doesn't grow with stale undone tasks.

Populating the My Day view is, as you showed, quite easy with the Suggestions feature (the lightbulb icon) which also suggests tasks that you never made it to on previous My Days.

Some might feel the clearing of the My Day list is annoying; I think it’s quite nifty and refreshing – less bad conscience about undone tasks, and a clean slate each day.

THANK YOU. Finally a simple to use and free to-do app. Been using OneNote the last few months for simple notes and lists, but was never quite happy with it (don't get me wrong, OneNote is awesome for bigger projects but not so easy to use for simple stuff). Great and informative video. 👍

I set up a To-Do / Projects in Notion. At first I did not care for the To Do app and felt that Notion took care of that need very well. Now after playing around with it I'm going to use To Do for "Task" or To Do's and use Notion for strictly projects since I have more flexibility. When I first looked at To Do, I thought it was to basic. Then I realized that is probably the most important feature; simplicity. So I've done a 180 on this app. Really like it. I do wish they had a Calendar View. Maybe in the future.

Was hoping the desktop version could look at a monthly Calendar view

FYI...You can add emoji on the online version. Use the computer's Touch Keyboard (even if you don't have a touchscreen computer). I do it all the time.

Wow, Microsoft To-Do has become quite a competitor to my beloved Todoist. I'm just missing support for the Google assistant/home though...

Just played with this, total inconsistency across platforms. Integration with outlook (desktop), outlook.com, iOS app and outlook iOS are disjointed. Not ready for regular use.

How to make remind me to repeat daily at the same time?

How do you sync the app between iPhone and iPad?

Thanks for this. I could see this To-Do being useful. Would love to see calendar integration like Todoist and Things has. One thing that throws me is the separation of “Tasks” and “Lists”. Lists contain “tasks” but those tasks do not show up in the overall tasks area. I guess the “tasks’ area is like the “inbox” area of many other task apps? Really need an option to show ALL tasks you have remaining whether in lists or the tasks area. I guess some type of advanced filtering would be needed. To be honest, I looked at this about 1 year ago and although Microsoft has added some items, I expected them to be a bit further with this App. Kind of concerns me. Microsoft can completely stall/abandon things from time to time. I understand the slow pace with some apps that do not have the resources, but I would think Microsoft would not have this issue. Still, I think the comparison you did with the very basic Google Tasks (which I do not see Google putting much more effort into) and Todoist was a good choice. Todoist is advanced for sure but many/most people do not need this. Google Tasks is as basic as they come but some may need a little more. Personally I love task apps that allow you to quickly “star” them. It is my routine to look at a full list of all tasks each day and then quickly star the ones that I need to get done for that day. This is what I would consider “My Day” rather than the actual “My Day”. Must be the Things in me...

I am struggling to make use of this. I already use Alexa for some of those tasks and if not, my Outlook calendar. There, things stay together. In addition to my whiteboard in the kitchen, of course. :-) Also if you need this to remind you that you have to "Feed the cat!", then I feel bad for the cat. hahaha

Is there any way to sync to Google Calendar?

But... Is it as good as Wunderlist? I adored Wunderlist for years and am afraid to switch.

Great app but I've just switched from Wunderlist and am missing one crucial feature. It doesn't create schedule date/time automatically while typing (for example typing in 'Buy Milk tomorrow 6pm' would automatically create task 'Buy Milk' that is set for tomorrow 6pm). You have to pick it from a menu manually which is annoying.

Thanks for this, I’d liked to have known how to set up it up to react to Siri and also if I can import tasks the Apple Reminder app that is built in with all iPhones.

Hi. How to reorder tasks in a list manually in a custom order I mean?

*Hopefully this video addressed some of the questions of Microsoft To-Do?*
Let me know if you have anymore below. Happy to help!

On my Iphone, I've set up several tasks, titled different stores, i.e., Whole Foods, then Trader Joes, etc. and inside that section I add "next step" which is a list of all the things I need, in various steps. How can I get these steps to show up most recent one first? Most recent shows up last on the list. I have the free version. Do I have to pay before I can get this option?

What about repetitive tasks like medication. Some days I missed it because of some thing. So how do I close the task without giving it a complete action?
