I found you videos by chance and I am so glad I did. You are a fantastic tutor, making things simple to follow and understand. I have spent the day refreshing myself on all things Microsoft Office related and you have also shown me things like this 'to do' that I didn't even know existed but will find really useful. Massive thank you.

One of the better to-do videos I've seen, for a number of reasons: (1) It's not an ego trip for you - you don't even show your image; too many how-to videos are wasteful of time, too much for the speaker's air time. (2) Your speaking voice is clear and pleasant to listen to. (3) Your instructions are clear and to the point, and your cursor movements are slow enough for my eyes to follow (4) You start with the basics and don't bring in too many alternatives or side trips along the way. That said, I would now like to ask for something. How-to videos, including this one, show how to set up a task, how to set up a list; but they do not show how the pro uses an entire functioning program after it has been set up. What I would like to request is not just an "advanced" program, which typically just shows how to use more advanced or little-known features. I'm not asking for more pieces to the puzzle. What I'm asking for is not how to create a list or task, or star it or set its importance - but once entirely configured, how you would use it during your day. What's it look like? In my business I have 50 active clients. For each I gather information and documents, and prepare an application package in a specific format. Though I have some imposed deadlines, my work is more about setting my own priorities, keeping track of the various next steps in each case, and choosing which to work on each day. What initially attracts me to this program is that I can apparently select a few sub-tasks to put on my "Today" list, and I'm guessing that I can prioritize the order in which I want to do them. To digress for a moment, what I did not like about Todoist, was that I needed to set a date for every sub-task, and color-code its importance. However, new responsibilities came in every day and changed my plans, inevitably leaving several of every day's items undone. Then within a few days I had a bunch of items show up as "Overdue" which is not a good way to start my work day; all of those items needed to be re-categorized and re-dated, so that program was, for me, too labor-intensive. I just want a big list of tasks and sub tasks, some of which will have deadline dates and reminders, but most will not, and daily I will select what tasks I will do, and it will feed them to me in the priority I set for them. I'm hoping this Microsoft program will do that. So now you have a glimpse of what I want and hopefully I'll discover links to already-existing videos. And I hope you will consider my suggestion for a run-through not of how to set things up, but a video of how it runs once it's all set up. I like to see how the finished product, in capable hands, is used. Thanks.

Good program; great video: straight and to the point with no convoluted nonsense!

thank you for this! I am late to MTD even though I have been a 365 subscriber for many years and my job now uses Outlook Mail and a host of other Microsoft programs. Your video makes me think that the other videos posted on this topic don’t understand that MTD is as simple or as complex as you make it. Using a single and seemingly simple example of putting gas in the car before vacation, you helped me to make sense of this application and all its many uses.

Thank you for your excellent overview. I am looking for a way to make a change in time management, and this gave me all the information I need to decide how to proceed with this software.

Through my Gmail account, the announcement of the termination of Wunderlist and availability of Microsoft To-do came to my attention and that was only a few weeks ago. So, I appreciate the YouTube video about the latter. I feel more at ease about making the transition. So, thank you very much! The presentation was very straightforward and unambiguous.

This is a good introduction video. Thank you for this.
Would it be possible for you to make a variation of this video dedicated to secundary education students with their different classes, homework, projects, tests and test weeks?
I think that To Do can play an important part in the Office365/Teams educational ecosystem.

Nice video. The bad thing about the move from wanderlist to to do was that you can no longer comment back and forth in the shared lists. You have to use the notes field. I don’t know if they’re just having problems getting that feature to work…but it was a great feature.
