Had a roommate for a couple years that was a PMC. No military background; just a college baseball player that had a lot of bad things happen in his life all at once. Just went through a crazy amount of training for like a year and half before he was doing jobs. He always said the way you get in is by knowing the wrong people at the wrong time 😂

I'm watching this video simply because I'm curious about Mercenaries. I would never myself try to do this because I know who I am personally and I know that my inexperience and the way my mind works would put others in jeopardy. I have nothing but the upmost respect for Mercenaries. It's an interesting subject and this video explains a lot of things very well to someone like me who has no military experience and was just looking to learn.

I don't even need a huge salary. It's just the job I enjoy. I'm currently working MOJ security jobs but im looking for ways to work abroad in security.

if you have VIP protection and armed security experience plus EMT training are you more likely to obtain a security job overseas with no military background? I am very interested in a job overseas in that capacity but have no military background.

I actually find them useful. They are not geared to what I want to do. But the vids still have useful tips.

Thank you so much for this video I am currently an armed security guard and I plan to get my ccw as well after a year of this I want to get my FFL and even open my own security business and get a top secrete security clearance I also plan to take a multitude of CQB classes and even acquire my bail fugitive recovery license so my non military back ground doesn’t hold me up in the defense contractor process

It is not so simple. I am a former special forces member, an expert in combatives and sentinel remocal and is very difficult to find and conquer such jobs...

Blackwater owns a contractor company but it's not named blackwater they train you for 18 months and your good to go. Contract work goes from 5k-100k per contract.

So if I completed a lot of courses at Frontsight, Gunsite, Valor Ridge, and/or other training facilities; would my chances of getting a contract for static security or PSD still be very slim?

Im going to the Air Force as Security Forces for my AFSP, and I plan on either doing law enforcement after I finish my contract in the Air Force, or get into defense contracting. Would I more likely be accepted into any contracting company if I decided to go in with this AFSP?

So currently im an armed guard at a aerospace site. Im going through Paramedic school for my national license. I dont care about getting in the action, just want heavy experience in trauma care and transport abroad before starting a long career as a firefighter. Still young enough to spend a few years doing something beforehand.

What is the likelihood of finding a medic based job abroad with a contracting company with no military experience. Im getting half and half answers on this from others. I'm a very fit 6'4 male. And are there any companies you would suggest looking into? Maybe one that would hire me towards the finish like of schooling so that i can begin work right off the bat?

Some of us want to serve the government but not the way the government wants to force us to serve them. Such as infantry but not requiring security clearance or top secret clearance. Me personally I'd like to work with a squad, for the government to train us to be untraceable and how to do everything similar to special forces but not have no ties to anything. Basically your on your own out there just to accomplish your mission and that's it. Go home, save your money and continue that life when called upon. Meanwhile not a soul knows what you do. That's what I want to do. Does it exist? Yes, but I don't know how to get there

I have to ask why do you even need to join the preexisting big dogs, why not just start your own? what are the legal requirements? I've heard so long as you abide by the geneva conventions you are legal combatant, but I'm just wondering if there's a fine print.
