Tonight is the night before my momma passed on dec 10, 2019 and it’s been the toughest year mentally navigating through life without her dealing with grief and now the feeling of bereft I’ve never felt so alone and sleep eludes me . I don’t know how how to regain my joy my passion for living . My mom said grief is somewhere hot may visit but not live and yet hear I am drowning . No sleep for days to near exhaustive sleep deprivation hallucinations then I power nap and the cycle starts all over all whilst living a “ normal” life. It’s as though no one notices. Bizarre. My lengthy comment was meant to say simply I hope with every ounce of my being I sleep tonight in in un-medicated, without a following said medicate with a hot toddy only to be wide awake again in 3.5 hours . Day in day out. I didn’t realize grief was so invisibly oblivious to everyone around me. Best wishes @Honestguys hope I get through tomorrow and the next ... for I know of nowhere else to turn too .
