AVOID Buying These Used Cars (Unless You Hate Money)

Ready to lose 40%? What about 50%? It could get worse if you buy any of these used cars that will literally steal your money if you buy it today. So don't buy any of these cars from BMW, Audi, Toyota, Hyundai, and more makers. Just watch out for huge depreciation to hit after this bubble pops.

Where we believe that Life's Too Short To Drive Boring Cars so we just don't and you shouldn't either.

My best advice to any buyer is: Do not "impulse" buy anything. Research, research, shop around, be patient. After doing that, I paid slightly over $20k for a Lexus with 35k miles on it, and I still felt conscientious about it... in retrospect, I am happy with the deal (I paid half MSRP).

Thanks bro. Don't have a ride of my own yet but I'm watching this just to be on the safe side when I decide on buying one

I unfortunately totaled my car 2 month ago and yes, the insurance company paid me the market value of the car, which was slightly higher what I paid for it brand new 6 years ago! I was happy till I started looking at replacements used or new, I say now oh yeah I get it ..

I was going to "gift" my 2001 4runner to my daughter, as I really don't drive it very much. Surprise! Regardless of the 220, 000 miles, people were asking six to $8, 000 for them. I still own it. Great information, as always!

Great vid mate! I looked at m140 and m240s in Australia second hand, found exactly what you're talking about. Cars just out of manufacturer warranty MORE than RRP! In another 3 years you'll have a 6-7yr old BMW you paid RRP for having 6-7yr old BMW problems. As you say, no understanding.

They wanted $29k (USD) for a 2018 Rav4, I got a new Mazda CX5 instead. Insanity.

Mark, looks like you did your homework on this one, great review! I'm not in the market but I'm sure you've helped a lot of people out there . Keep up the great work !
Cheers, Chris .

When I was shopping for a used pickup in 2003, a few year old Tacoma was only a few thousand less than a brand new one with high mileage! I ended up buying a brand new 2003 4 door Prerunner for about $5K more than a used one with zero miles!

The dealer keeps pestering me to trade in my 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport but has almost nothing comparable to offer in their new car inventory. I told them to pound sand. No way I’m dealing in this market plus I won’t be ready to do anything until it’s paid off

I actually have a 2017 Camaro SS I’m thinking about selling with less than 15k on the odometer. Thanks for keeping us well informed my man 😎

Used vehicles are expensive nowadays, especially these newer, used models. Always look for an older model, when you can afford to purchase later in life. For example, you can look for a 2001 Ford Windstar SEL minivan for only a couple thousand dollars with a fairly low to a fairly high odometer reading in mint condition. Most likely, you can look for the ones with moderate mileage at a private party.

I saw on one of those internet cars sale website a 2011 Toyota RAv4, based model 4 cylinders 75k miles for 18 ks. What a mind blowing steal.

Great Info & Awesome channel sir 👍 I recently bought a 2012 Lexus ES350 w/ 58k miles ( 20K)
1 owner trade in. Felt like this was the best move long-term under the circumstances.

should be an eye opener. these questionable buying decisions affect everybody--just like the person who wrecks the curve for other students. right now, it seems, just say no is most often the only right answer. thanks again!

I own a FK8 2018 Mark. The dealer last year showed on a print out that my vehicle had increased in price by £5000 in 4 months. I hope that continues when i sell it this year.🙏

Great video. It's not just the newer used vehicles that have seen a price increase. I've been looking at the cars on the cheaper end of market for a few months now using the same search parameters (i.e. max price, amount of kms etc.) and the return on search results gets smaller and smaller every month. Prices are going up on all used cars.

Interesting. Thanks! Supply, demand and inflation. Driving prices up like crazy.

My wife's 2019 flex cost 24, 000 with 24, 000 miles on it. Was offered 30 for it at 28000 miles. My 2021 mazda 3 hatch was total loss a month ago and I bought a new premium package one 500 under msrp of the show room floor. Not many cars were in inventory though.

I was lucky enough to pick up a brand new 2021 kia forte gt last November. Luckily there was one 45 mins away from us. Other than that 2-4 hr drives to get something. Absolute insanity to get a car rn.
