Can confirm it still works ok PS5 as of 4/22/23 it takes a bit of practice but make sure you have ‘X’ held even when you sell that way it tricks the menu into think you’re selling again (menu to sell should pop out again and you should have sold your original amount and still have it in your inventory again).

You can add more money to the vendor if you do the glitch backwards from the vendors side it will also let you duplicate more items that way to also if you take you duplicate items place them in your stash you can add to your stack then sell them to the vendors all over

Can confirm that as of June 2023 - Patch 1.62 (PC version) this works. Paid off Viktor and got some nice early upgrades.

20/4/23 - still works a tip for PC that worked for me, you can use your mouse to move the quantity as long as you put it back over the item before pressing F which speeds up the process

The glitch still works as of 21 April 2023. Need to specially remember to point (not click) crusor on item while pressing F button, all item -1 when selling, all item -2 (if the items are only a handful)/half stack when re-buying, DO NOT exced the 20, 000 eddies amount on the machine, DO NOT stack more than 999, 999 items.

I need to do several trial and error to get it right the first time 😂. Thanks for sharing man.

Side note this doesn’t really work on ammo bc you can only carry a certain amount of ammunition, and I did this at the beginning of the game and made over a hundred grand in a minute greatest glitch ever I hope it doesn’t get patched

thank you man, still works 14 april on 1.62, have been doing for for the past 5 days
i hope they never patch it ;i make 17k in a few seconds AND can dupe components at the same time.
im not about to grind tens of hours to upgrade/buy what i want for a singleplayer game and now i can finish side quests in peace 👍
btw:on PC u can move the mouse to set max number for item as long as you move it back over the item when holding down F

Also works as a good way to get components.Since it doubles them you will never need to buy them or scrap for them again.

On console you dont have to hold a constantly. When you go to sell if you have a high number of items it could take forever to scroll through it with the d-pad so you can just hit a on the item and use the stick to select the highest quantity on the bar of items then make sure you're hovering over the item again and then hold a and do as he said it saves so much time

Everyone I’ve just found something to exploit it even further. The steps are the same but at an expensive tailor/clothing shop. Specifically the one near City center. Just south of the corpo plaza apartment. The tailor could have over $12000 just for u to steal. Right near it is a bar and a food place. So you could easily make $20000 in just one sitting. Like so people can follow

Don’t know if it works anymore on Xbox I’m trying it and i get the second sell menu but it says it’s worth 0 to sell edit: I wasn’t doing it right it does indeed work I wasn’t decreasing the max number by one before
