To raise the Ninjutsu skill, remember to dump bodies into appropriate receptacles. Even if you just run in and go loud, you can just collect the bodies afterward and dump them for the Ninjutsu XP.

It brings me a lot of joy too see people coming back, even on consoles, I always loved this game despite its flaws, and if what’s planned is confirmed i think it has a great chance for the horrid launch to be a footnote in its story.

One very important tip for starting players is dump one skill point into the cold blood perk under cool as soon as possible.... This opens up a whole new skill tree that levels up every time you make a stealth kill and will give you more perk points early on.. I would also strongly recommend the perks under intelligence that can double your income from hacking access points as it becomes very easy money while you're doing your side quests especially if you bother putting points into a better cyber deck. If you're going to stress construction over just selling all of the guns and armor your bound to be looting there is also a perk in the technical tree that will greatly increase the number of components you get when you do so which will make life a good deal easier for you.

The anime series got me buying the cyberpunk game. Love how it makes me feel like what David would've felt like with all the cyber gear installed

Another tip: if you kill Royce in the initial prologue when acquiring the flathead bot you keep the datashard from the Militech agent, and that's an extra 10K eddies starting out. Make sure you hack the datashard before the meeting with Maelstrom, and after the conflict go into your inventory and click on the hacked Militech datashard to actually get the eddies.

Before getting Jackie's bike you can get the green one at the garage near the Malstrom mission. Just make sure you are at the mission where you have to meet up with Jackie, he is waiting by the area. THEN you can open the door. It'll bug out if you do it sooner. The code is 0214.

Edit: Thanks for the timestamps!

Since 1.6 update, if you sleep at least 4 hours, you will get the 20% XP buff for 1 hour of gameplay and will buff Street Creed too. So a good approach is to equip your clothes with 2 Street XP mods since the beginning of the game until you reach 50 Street Creed.

These new guides are just showing me how much I missed during my first playthrough. I ran through story mode, got the 'bad' ending and never went back to it. With the new updates and these guides, I think I'm going to pick Cyberpunk up again and see how much more fun I can have with it, especially now that the devs have fixed a lot of the early issues.

You really spoiled Jackie's death with the "send his body" part 😂😂 I don't mind, it's just funny on a BEGINNER'S GUIDE.

A better beginner tip I found easier is just don't do the delamain mission. Unless you want like 6+ more missions added to your list. As you play the game you'll do side jobs that will reward you vehicles. You can also just look up for the batmobile Easter egg and use that car for the rest of the playthrough. Didn't spend any Eddies and I rounded up 5 cars and 2 bikes

Only change is that you don’t have to sleep for 24 hours to get the xp buff just an hour or 2

I’d love to add a couple of handy little tips for act 1.

Gear: Don’t waste time or money trying to get good gear in Act 1, Proceed with the heist and you can loot a unique katana, A Unique Pistol, And a unique outfit too. You have to loot all this stuff before you jump down though, So look around. (You can also get other neat things from the suite too. Iguana Egg, Dogtags, Etc.)

Maelstrom: There are several different outcomes for the mission you get the spider bot from.

Side with Maelstrom, Pay out of your own pocket: You get a secret weapon vendor that sells a legendary shotgun, And you get DumDum’s unique revolver down the road.

Side with Militech, Take Credit Chip & Hack It, Kill Royce in Standoff: You get Royce’s Unique Pistol, A new quick hack & $10k from the credit chip, And another unique melee weapon if you call the Militech lady in Act 2 and romance her. (You can also find and free Brick during this choice to make a later quest easier.)

Take Militech Credit Chip, Hack it, Give it to Royce, Help Maelstrom defend against Militech: You only get the 10k from the Chip and the quick hack, No secret vendor. (You can also free Brick during this option too, No idea what happens in the later quest then when Brick Royce & DumDum are all alive.)

Sidequests & Gigs: I recommend avoiding all of these in Act 1 so you don’t miss out on the dialogue with Johnny during these quests. You can do the police markers in Act 1 though. (But I also recommend waiting to do these as well so you can clear them out in Act 2 with that sweet arse katana you nicked from the heist suite.)

Another tip; if you are just starting. Take the time to read all of the perks and just plan your builds. If you mess up on perks, you can always refund them by spending Eddies. Attributes are non-refundable.

Got this game for Christmas right after release, shelved it til last week. Must admit, I’m hooked. Work 90 hours a week and have still managed to put in 23 hours played already! Love this game, so glad I waited it out!

Couple things to point out.
1. You don't need to sleep 24h to get the xp boost. Just sleeping in general gives you the buff. Even if you only sleep 1h.
2. Clothing merchants no longer sell crafting specs and it's basically all down to luck what you find and don't find. Or at least I haven't been able to buy any specs from clothing merchants in 1.6.

After seeing your three build videos, I was just talking about needing to see "beginner's guide", but one more so like your content. Thank you, and thank my FBI agent for recommending this video. You just got one more subscriber. Good luck on a million 👍🏽
