1440p monitors are getting blazingly quick, in some cases even faster than 1080p.

Great video, especially the explanation of things like overshoot and other technical terms and I really liked the clean aesthetics of your graphs.

Just hope we get 2560x1440 240hz+ oled with it's 0.1ms response times.. The great HDR is just an added bonus.

You just beat hardware unboxed at their own game. I've not known what their graphs meant until this video. Oh my god. Gigachad

@Optimum Tech you should rcheck out the new aoc ag274qzm, MiniLED 1440P 240hz, HDR1000 and 500+ local diming zones. Probably the best 1440p high refresh out there rn.

Not sure if people are aware but you can totally reduce your resolution and play with a black border. Something like 1200p would be around 24" on a 27" 1440p monitor.

Top notch explanation of how the overshoot and response time graphs/grids work, really clear and concise. I've watched many hardware unboxed videos and never bothered to learn how they work ahaha

It's really exciting to see the monitor market moving as fast as it is, with increasing refresh rates, and the introduction of oled

All we need to wait now are standard OLED monitors. Otherwise, these are see still very good options.

This is amazing, your first video going really deep into monitors response times and overshoot (with time charts and so on) and you made such an amazing job in properly explaining what every measurement means and how the results are obtained, all that paired with your usual top video quality. Now you have definitely step up the level in your monitor's content Ali. Love the work!!

Could you please review the new AW2723DF by any chance?

Brought you that much closer to the HUB standard. Very nice. I'm also only really personally interested in response times, color accuracy, as long as it's decent i can't be bothered with. So it's very nice to see more focused content. I hope you continue building a repertoire of response time matrixes to build up a very nice review framework for future monitor. And looking forward to more monitor reviews. The explanation between the two ASUS products was also very nice.

Ok i have to disagree with this particular video. I've bought this monitor half a year ago and it's BAD. Coming from a 5 year old TN panel from Alienware (AW2518HF) and in comparison to that one the XG27AQM is EXTREMELY slow. Level 4 overdrive shows noticable ghosting, level 5 is simply unusable cos of OD artifacts. ELMB is terrible and you CAN NOT tune in the pulse width. Also worth noting that this monitor has a HUGEi nput lag in comparison to my old TN panel. So yeah, the model is pretty SHIT if u're serious about competitive shooters.
Have to say tho it's usable in slow stuff like CS: GO and Valorant, but i primarily play Quake which is a LOT faster and ghosting + imput lag problems are very well noticable in that particular title.
Actually the ghosting is noticable even in fucking Rocket League.
May be this monitor measures well in standard G2G or White to Black tests but in reality that's a no go.

Small review, I got the pg270qm a couple of weeks ago, initially, I was really disappointed with the colors on windows, they looked really dull compared when plugged to a macbook, then found the option for increase color vibrance on nvidia, loving it now. Regarding response, it feels great, I was able to measure input lag from my mouse with reflex, allowing me get a good setup and even select which cables to use(kvm + wireless mouse), colors are amazing, and it performs great when working, 1440p is a really good resolution for my needs, I'm a software developer. Recently I played Spiderman, that one is the one which most surprised me, HDR+Ray tracing really blew my mind, wasn't expecting that that kind of image was possible. Super happy overall.

Underrated monitor reviews in this channel.I DONT UNDERSTAND why the sponsers/companies dont sent this GUY their monitors for review and first impressions.
LG/Samsung/ needs to send him review samples of thier thier OLED Monitors so that we can get more accurate reviews.
