Continue to be impressed by Tim's ability to rattle off those ridiculous monitor names with ease, another great review.

I really appreciate that you guys measure minimum brightness. You're the only reviewers that do it to my knowledge. I wish companies would focus on this more because 50 nits is still far too bright at night.

BEWARE: I recently bought this and when I got it I noticed it had a dead pixel. So I called Gigabytes customer service and they said they only replace monitors if they have 6 or more dead pixels. I know complaining about one dead pixel sounds petty. But if you're spending $500 on a monitor it shouldn't have any defects.

Gigabyte is doing quite well with their monitors lately, especially good on the pricing.

It's good to see the MSI MAG274QRF-QD in the charts again because it hasn't been in the newer charts and it's still a very good monitor.

Hi Tim, thank you for the review, your monitor content is top notch! Can you please do a review of the new M27Q-X rev 2.0? I am curios what are the panel differences and it seems like nobody has done a comparison so far.

The abysmal warranty support from Gigabyte prevents me from buying any of their monitors. Some people are left waiting an entire month for a reply! No chat, only email. It's terrible.

Thanks for noting the difference between esports gaming and regular gaming. Too many monitor reviews weigh esports too highly.

Always love seeing competition in the monitor space. A 1440p 240hz display at 500 is unheard of. Cheaper than monitors with the same specs and faster than monitors at the same price point.

Other companies are going to have to find an answer to it. To the benefit of us consumers (:

Very nice to see the price of 1440p 240 Hz monitors drop. I just recently managed to get a 27" G7 for 350€, it's an excellent experience ...

I recently purchased the Samsung CRG9. I love this monitor and think it’s great value. There is 0 in depth reviews of it. Amazing gaming experience. Thanks!!

Gigabyte are killing it in the monitor department lately.

You know what I really want from monitors? A zero dead pixel policy. If I’m dropping hundreds on a superior viewing experience I don’t want to roll the dice if it’s going to be ruined.

Really hope you guys will review the msi 1440p 240hz monitor. It’s $550

People warning of dead pixels are spot on. Buyer beware. Bought this monitor because of HU’s recommendation and regretted it only because of the horrendous quality control. Amazon wouldn’t even let you do a direct replacement, just return & rebuy if you wanted the same one. Bought an MSI that had equivalent specs and it’s just about perfect.

Gigabyte has a lot of great budget products. I have owned many of them, but the problem is that they have basically no warranty. I've been ghosted by their warranty department over the last two years where I don't even receive a response from them and I'm stuck with a dead product.

So I believe their products are cheaper than competitors because you're paying for the hardware price without warranty factored in.

I love this monitor, i picked it up at $379 on Black Friday!

I was wondering why my ps5 had ghosting while play god of War but, not with CoD, that’s because GOW is at 60 Hz and cod plays at 120hz. I appreciate that knowledge and that makes so much sense!

*Help requested*

Hi,

I just bought this monitor a week ago. I was in the market for a new monitor and this video helped me decide. Thank you for the recommendation. Other than the problem I'm having, it's excellent and I love it.

The monitor tends to flicker once or twice every few minutes. The flicker last for about a millisecond, this is occurring on all outputs. It's subtle, and I can deal with it, but I shouldn't have to since it's a new monitor.

* I've reset all settings to default
* I've updated the monitor's firmware from F04 to F05
* I unplugged the power, and plugged it back in, but the issue persists.

I'm now checking one output at a time to see if it's a cable that the monitor isn't liking, but I'm not sure what else to do other than get it replaced. I'm not looking forward to going through that process.

Any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thank you for your help.
