Finally, something I can try. I got serious knee problems which makes any exercises that require bending is impossible for me.

Thank you! I feel better now because obviously i am not alone with problems doing proper lunges. I can do squats, side/cursey lunges, but not standard lunges....

Thank you. I do more wobbling than lunging. This is a nice modification. I actually have never seen a lunge modification

Thank you so much for sharing an alternate of Lunge exercise. Years ago after a horrible knee injury; I could not do lunges very well even with knee bracelet because of the pain.
It would be appreciated if you may provide a video on few exercises to strengthening the knee.

I have knee pain during lunges and squats both. For some days now I have stopped doing them and focussing on ankle mobility, quad strengthening, and glute strength, to improve lunges and squats. This is a good alternative though
