firstly, it is not lunge.. it is split squat. Lunge is a dynamic movement. secondly, leaning forward in split squat focuses on glutes, so it is not wrong.

The first - the difference- it’s the distance between the two legs. Correct technique is you don’t step directly back but you step slightly to the side- wider step .

It's a slight difference between right and wrong but affect a lot...
Right one (see the front leg) - your heel should be stable, when you move forward pressure should come on calves instead of knee and knee should not go forward from your toe.
I hope this will help.

Second one is also right bcoz here you training more your qudriceps muscle nd also increase your toe mobility that's why both are right.

Well I have seen it many times to understand... But got it.. in first the leg distance is more which is not making actual 90° though both are looking same but not it's not same.. in second back is not straight.. it's like forward bending

They target different muscles. Its not about wrong or right. By leaning the body forward, you engage more of the glute. By keeping vertical, you engage more of the quadriceps.

In wrong one back is not straight and most importantly front knee is being pushed or pressurized . In right one front knee is stable

this helped soo much! lunges are really hard on my knees for some reason, and this correction of the stance clarified why!!

The difference is that the "correct" is going vertically downwards, while the "incorrect" one is going a bit front and downwards

Distance between legs in first clip is more
In second clip, wrong one is bending forward too much.knees are not on right angle but acute angle

Wow you can really see the difference from the side. It’s good because it demonstrates how mislead one can be from the front.

The second one is knee focused and the knee travels over the foot.. this movement puts a lot of pressure on the knee.

The forward bend is not bad by the way, straight upper body is upper leg focused, forward bend is more glute focused.

Both are correct one is quads focused and other one is more glute focused
