i have to assume that the everyone posting in the comments didn't actually watch the video, as far as REMASTERS go, this is amazing. i think everyone expected this to be a remake, like the new crash bandicoot game or what ff7 is looking like. that's not what it's supposed to be, this is an upgrade in resolution, that's it... other than all the stuff that they added on top of that, which is quite a bit considering this is a REMASTER not a

outside of the cutscenes, the game is just not HD remastered it`s retextured and the UI changed, it`s a well done Remaster in my eyes i think every fan of the game and every fan of the franchise will appreciate it

The best thing about the HD remaster is that we finally get the Turbo mode in an English version of the game, being able to speed up the tediously slow battles and walking across the maps at a higher speed really adds to the game.

Why is the PS2 one so blurry? I have the HDMI adapter on my PS2 and the picture quality is clear and sharp just as the PS4 version but jaggy

Well, the game looked gorgeous on PS2.

This is quite misleading. My wife bought the original collectors edition for me back when it released in 2006, and in no way was it as blurry on my PS2 as the example being shown here. Maybe if you purchased a higher end HDTV and used composite as your source, but for me this was still back in the CRT days and my RCA (composite) signal was VERY crisp. I'm thinking this is over-exaggerated in order to promote the PS4 version.
