Last lesson, we talked about the Musical Matrix and the sequence of notes that all music is made from. This lesson, you're going to use that Matrix to find and name every single note on your bass.

This is where you'll start to really start seeing all of the notes on your bass and being very systematic about finding them all.

Every single note!

In this lesson, you'll learn a very simple way of learning your entire bass fretboard. No tricks, no hacks or gimmicks - just a solid system for learning your bass fretboard.

Having this knowledge and understanding is going to let you breeze through your fretboard with ease. Learning songs will be simpler and you'll never get caught searching for notes again.

There isn't some secret trick to learning your bass fretboard. It's all about taking it slow, and being very systematic and methodical. It's surprisingly simple, but incredibly effective.

It's definitely NOT about how fast you play - it's about accuracy and knowing what you play before you play it.

Once you understand how your fretboard is put together, then you can try some of the more 'exotic' ways of learning your fretboard faster.
