I've been eating peanuts all my life - dry roasted, shelled, however I choose to eat them, as well as peanut butter (crunchy or smooth) and of course peanuts are a great supplement to chocolate candy bars. And of course, there's nothing like a bowl of Beer Nuts while enjoying your favorite adult beverage. After all, peanuts can prevent cancer, they're rich in polyphonic antioxidants, good for fighting anxiety and depression, have been known to prevent diabetes - and yep, they're even good for children and pregnant women - and can even in some cases, prevent Alzheimer's. That being said, I'm happy to report that I'll turn 64 in a couple of months and I'm feeling just fine. 😊

And in India, our parents always ask us to keep handful of peanuts with us while traveling in case if we feel hungry. Obviously, peanuts are not only cheaper but healthier than other options you get to eat while traveling

I snack on them almost every day. They are a lot healthier than eating a bag of chips or any processed snack foods. I'd rather eat chips, but I don't want the heart disease, diabetes, and cancer that goes with them.

I take soaked peanuts daily in the morning empty stomach. It has definitely helped me in preventing diabetes ( I was pre diabetic before). It has tremendously improved my libido.

Peanuts are my go to snack on a daily basis. I work outdoors and the summers are brutal, I snack on peanuts throughout the day because it’s hard to eat a full meal when your working out in the heat. I love them raw, boiled, or roasted.

Jokes aside, peanuts are rich in protein and a source of "good fat" that can lower levels of cholesterol. They also contain Magnesium, which promotes heart health. Eaten in moderation as with all good food they can be a healthy addition to an already healthy diet.

I read most of the comments. No one knows how to eat it. Take a hand full of peanut or groundnut in my country India, put it in a bowl of water for 8 to 10 hours over night and take it out and chew it well and eat in empty stomach early morning. This is how peanuts have to consumed if u want its full strength. Not as a roasted and salted one.😊

I eat peanuts almost everyday. Not into sugary snacks or junk food either for that matter. No type 2 diabetes here at age 62, yet it seems to run in the family. Guess I am doing something right then.

My understanding of the problem with peanuts is that they contain large amounts of omega 6 which is believed to be inflammatory if not balanced by omega 3. I eat a packet of chocolate covered peanuts every day and have done for five years with no problems.

I eat mixture of all types of pnuts daily. They must work bc I am 66.6 years old and do not have any medical conditions and I don’t take any prescribed medications. My doctor says I’m a walking enigma. I know for a fact that it has a lot to do with my heritage. My mother lived to be 98 years old

The only negative with peanuts is it's high level of Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio which can cause inflamation like gout. So ...with every 4 tablespoons of peanut take 1 tablespoon of fermented chia seeds. That will lower that ratio
